This small island is famous for its olive oil and olives. It is linked to Ayvalık on the mainland by a causeway; located to Ayvalık, a part of Balıkesir province of Turkey. As I just saw the harbour of Cunda, I realized that it was the same island I had always dreamt of to live in. You are bewitched by its small Greek houses, scent of olive, taverns, restaurants where you can always find fresh fish and history.
So, if you want to visit Turkey, Cunda is one of the places you should go and stay. I think two days are suitable to stay since it is a small island and there aren't a lot of choices to do.
